EMERGENCY SELF-RESCUE™ PROGRAM

HOME OF THE

PREVENTION FIRST, ALWAYS. THE ESR™ PROGRAM WAS DESIGNED WITH THE INTENTIONS OF TEACHING: INFANTS, TODDLERS AND CHILDREN WHAT TO DO IN THE EVENT OF AN AQUATIC EMERGENCY THROUGH 1:1 SWIMMING LESSONS.

Self Rescue Survival Skills

1:1 Lessons

Fully Clothed Assessment

DOES YOUR CHILD KNOW HOW
TO SURVIVE IN THE WATER?

  • In the event of an aquatic emergency, would your child be able to perform a self-rescue?

  • Are you looking for the flexibility and convenience of a mobile swim instructor (someone who comes to your pool)?

  • Are you looking for a private swim instructor?

  • Are you ready to ensure that your child knows what to do, if they were ever in an unintentional but serious aquatic situation?

Private 1:1 Lessons

All of our lessons are private lessons. By keeping the size of each lesson small and intimate, it allows the instructor to maximize their time spent teaching each swimmer. This benefits the swimmer because it results in quick advancements with regards to their technique, and less time sitting around waiting for their turn.

Outdoor Pool Locations OR Your Own Pool

Let us do the teaching, while you sit back and relax in the sun! We currently have two pool locations. Please keep in mind that we also have an instructor who will come to your backyard pool at an added charge for travel time and gas.

Emergency Self Rescue™
Program

Our main focus at iSwim Aquatics is to teach our swimmers how to survive in the water through the use of lifesaving skills. We believe it takes a split second without supervision for a child to fall in the water, therefore confirming that self- rescue skills are crucial in preventing drownings.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY

Michelle L.,

My children have been with iSwim Aquatics for a couple of years now. My oldest son was initially afraid of being in the water. We had him enrolled at another swim academy prior to starting iSwim but he made very little gains because there was no opportunity to build a relationship with his swim instructor and therefore, there was no trust in the water. I can honestly say that since my son began at iSwim, his confidence has improved immensely and he now loves the water. I appreciate the patience of the instructors and the discipline they provide in order for my kids to feel safe in the water. I'm excited to see their progress as they continue their journey with iSwim Aquatics.

Amanda was absolutely incredible with each of our four kids, ages 1 to 9. She is calm, clear, firm and kind - everything I strive to be as a parent!

She had my seven year old jumping in the deep end after only three lessons, when we have done years of swimming lessons where he has refused to put his face in the water. Our 18 month old was wanting to jump in with her siblings! To see her begin to surface on her own and move into a back float was phenomenal.

Amanda’s survival-based approach is totally unique to anything I have ever experienced in the past.  It makes so much sense, gives me such peace of mind as a parent supervising kids around water, and gave my kids so much confidence. I cannot recommend Amanda enough, the only thing I would change is her availability - I wish we could continue the lessons year round!

We came to iSwim Aquatics in the summer of 2013. Our son was 4 years old and had been in swimming lessons elsewhere. He seemed to be stuck at the same level for over a year. A friend recommended I bring my son to iSwim Aquatics and it was the best thing I did. Amanda, the instructor, was so patient with him and made him feel very comfortable. Before we knew it, my son was demonstrating the confidence to jump into the deep end and swim to the shallow end. We were sad the summer came to an end, but are looking forward to a new summer with iSwim Aquatics. Thanks, Amanda for all your hard work! My son is still talking about how much he loves swimming lesson with you! We will definitely be back!
